With less than 100 days to go before the Nairobi summit the UNFPA Zimbabwe team is remembering to stay fit and healthy! In one of many events this year we commemorated our 50 year anniversary and 25 years of the International Conference on Population and Development with a health walk and clinic for staff and dependents.
It was fun filled weekend where we got to unwind and take the stress off after the fast paced preparations for World Population Day commemorations. We teamed up with the International Labour Organisation who are also celebrating their 100 year anniversary this year.
Staff and dependents received free cervical cancer screening, blood pressure and sugar checks and received family planning services. After the 10km walk staff enjoyed some Zumba and sporting activities such as soccer, netball and tennis.
