The dialogue marks an important milestone in the roadmap towards establishing an alliance for addressing adolescent pregnancies. The event will bring together key actors from across Zimbabwe who have an interest in addressing the challenge of Adolescent Pregnancies. Over 60 participants comprising youth representatives, Academia, representatives of Ministries, Commissions, NGOs, faith-based organizations, civil society, will attend the event. The event which is being organized in close cooperation between United Nations Agencies, Government, and development partners, will give new insights into the necessity of applying multi-disciplinary and evidence-based strategies in prevention adolescent pregnancies and protection of young people as well as coordinating mechanisms on national level. The event will also provide an opportunity to refine commitments of actions and pledges from key stakeholders.
The panelists and speakers will address in their presentations the status of adolescent pregnancies and proposals for the protection of young people. Considering your interest and expertise in this field of work, we hope to welcome you at the event.
